Job summary

Jobot is seeking a mid-to-senior Mechanical Engineer for our York, PA office to design building and infrastructure systems and lead project teams.

The ideal candidate has a PE license or strong pursuit, an ABET-accredited degree, and robust BIM expertise with Autodesk Revit. Responsibilities include design, calculations, coordination with managers and consultants, and site involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with 7+ years in design and construction administration.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Experience in building/infrastructure design or MEP/building design.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for large central plants (boilers, chillers, towers, pumps, piping, controls).
• Perform heat/mass balance, code compliance analysis, hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Lead design tasks for project submissions including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narratives.
• Coordinate with project managers and external consultants to address design coordination and issues.
• Participate in construction administration with site visits and shop drawing reviews.
