Job summary

Jobot is seeking a mid-senior Mechanical Engineer in York, PA, to design and oversee building and infrastructure projects. The role requires leadership and collaboration with project teams to deliver robust mechanical systems for large facilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience in building/industrial design and infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for large central plants including boilers, chillers, pumping and piping.
• Perform calculations such as heat/mass balance, energy analysis, and pipe stress.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and designers.
• Prepare design packages with drawings, specs, cost estimates, and narratives.
• Coordinate with project managers and consultants to resolve design issues.
• Support construction administration activities including site visits and reviews.
