Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 8 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, engineering principles and codes.
• Proficiency with Revit and modeling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and develop mechanical system designs per codes and project needs.
• Prepare and review construction documents, specs and drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, architects and other disciplines.
• Assist in scope, budgeting, scheduling and manpower estimates.
• Review designs for accuracy, constructability, coordination, and QA.
• Provide technical leadership to designers and junior engineers.
• Mentor team members and support professional development.
• Communicate project requirements, designs, and progress to clients.
• Resolve technical challenges using engineering judgment and principles.
• Ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Perform final design reviews and support related duties.
