Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Tulsa, OK seeks a Lead or Senior Mechanical/Process Design Engineer to drive the design of industrial process utilities, piping, plumbing, and HVAC for manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a PE license with 10–20 years of experience in mechanical HVAC and piping for industrial environments, lead design efforts, mentor engineers, coordinate with clients and vendors, and deliver high-quality solutions from concept through construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and PE license.
• 10–20 years of experience in mechanical HVAC and piping design for industrial facilities.
• Experience with utility piping, process piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and process utility design for industrial facilities, including food and beverage experience preferred.
• Design and engineer utility piping, process piping, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Develop layouts and packages for compressed air, steam, condensate, pumps, and cooling systems.
• Perform calculations, sizing, and design evaluations.
• Review AutoCAD 2D drawings and Revit 3D models.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with teams and vendors.
• Conduct site visits and gather data for retrofit and expansion projects.
• Deliver work within schedules and budgets.
