Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience with vacuum systems, data acquisition, and data analysis.
• Ability to design and integrate mechanical, electrical, chemical, plasma, and thermal systems.
• Experience designing or implementing monitoring, control, and data analysis systems.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and cross-disciplinary problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, fabricate, assemble, and test power generation systems and components.
• Perform optical power measurements, generator testing, data acquisition, and diagnostics.
• Integrate mechanical, chemical, plasma, thermal, vacuum, and electrical systems to solve engineering challenges.
• Work with machinists, fabricators, and external vendors to support fabrication and resolve assembly or testing issues.
• Document test results, analyze data, and communicate technical challenges, solutions, timelines, and resource requirements.
