Job summary

Onward Energy is seeking an experienced engineer to provide oversight for major maintenance and process enhancement projects across its gas fleet. You will lead design considerations, perform cost/benefit analyses, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues and drive improvements in reliability and efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a track record in power plant maintenance engineering, controls, or related disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/related engineering field.
• 8+ years in power plant maintenance/engineering or related roles.
• Experience with fluid systems design, vibration dynamics, and thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with OSISoft PI and DCS environments.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight of major maintenance and process enhancement projects.
• Conduct cost/benefit analyses to justify facility enhancements.
• Support stakeholders to resolve operational issues and develop improvements.
