Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
- 10+ years in the power generation industry.
- Experience designing mechanical systems for conventional power plants (gas turbines, combined-cycle, coal, steam, RICE).
- Experience supporting project development and conceptual design.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and project development support for conventional power generation projects.
- Perform technical evaluations of generation facilities and project opportunities.
- Conduct engineering design reviews and owner's engineer assessments.
- Support conceptual design and feasibility studies.
- Participate in technical due diligence efforts for asset acquisitions and project financing.
- Assist with project economics, cost estimates, risk assessments, and contract development.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to clients and project stakeholders.
- Support domestic and occasional international projects.
