Job summary

Natgasoline is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide expert maintenance and reliability leadership across plant mechanical systems. You will develop preventive programs, mentor junior engineers, and drive safe, cost-conscious maintenance across static and rotating equipment.

You will review contractor work, lead root-cause analysis for plant trips, and coordinate capital and turnaround activities with operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in a process plant environment required.
• API 510, API 570, API 653, API 580, CMRP, CRE, CRL certifications preferred.
• Extensive working knowledge of Static and Rotating Equipment, maintenance and reliability engineering required.
• Knowledge of Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS) preferred.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of Project Management preferred.
• Experience leading teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance engineering activities to ensure the reliability and availability of static and rotating equipment.
• Lead discussions on engineering solutions to routine plant maintenance problems.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related/efficiency issues.
• Review reports produced by Junior engineers and support them in troubleshooting.
• Develop and mentor Junior Engineers.
• Coordinate and lead plant turnarounds and outages safely, on time and within budget.
• Direct and manage maintenance planning, schedules, and cost estimates for projects.
• Administer work order management, contracts, procurement, and close-out processes.
