Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical engineering across Liquids Pipelines projects in Canada and the United States. You will guide design, equipment selection, and reliability improvements for safe, cost-effective operation of Enbridge assets.

Bring your technical expertise and collaborative leadership to shape long-term reliability and performance of our energy infrastructure. This role requires travel and cross-border collaboration within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• PE registration in Canada; US PE preferred.
• 6+ years in oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Mechanical Engineering contact for Projects, ensuring alignment with standards and reliability objectives.
• Review and audit project designs for compliance and completeness, providing feedback to Projects and stakeholders.
• Lead or support in-house projects and produce design documentation, drawings, and calculations.
• Apply mechanical engineering skills throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify design improvements and cost efficiency.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to developing engineers.
