Job summary

Larson Design Group in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead design activities, coordinate schedules, and perform QA/QC duties on complex projects. You will ensure technical accuracy, budgets, and client satisfaction on nationwide engagements.

The role requires at least 12 years of related experience, proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads, and hydrologic/hydraulic software, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an engineering field from ABET-accredited school.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of job-related experience.
• Experience coordinating design activities, project submissions, and QA/QC duties.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs tasks, reviews work, prepares construction documents and delivers projects to completion.
• Demonstrates experience with technically complex projects.
• Maintains collaborative working relationships across project teams.
• Applies codes and standards to design projects.
• Performs final QA/QC review of project submissions.
• Develops schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
• Leads and supports project teams in delivering scope of work.
