Job summary

The Richmond Group USA seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer P.E. to join our client in the Greater Baltimore Maryland region office. This direct hire role offers a hybrid schedule, with split time between WFH and the Maryland office, and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities include providing leadership, defining mechanical design solutions, and mentoring a team of engineers. U.S. citizenship is required and ASME piping/mechanical system experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering consulting or industrial environments.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with ASME piping and mechanical system design.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure owner's requirements for mechanical system design are met and in compliance with applicable codes and requirements.
• Develop scopes of work, perform/review/document ASME piping, HVAC, plumbing, and relief system calculations.
• Partner with clients to deliver engineering solutions and mentor junior engineers (team of 6).
