Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead economical mechanical designs from concept through manufacturing, installation and operation. The role includes providing cost estimates for quotes and guiding other engineers on complex orders.

Travel to customer sites may be required to resolve technical issues. You will work onsite in Ocala, FL with responsibilities spanning design, cost estimation, and field support to ensure performance and profitability for desiccant dryers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree is required.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Must be familiar with ASME codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective mechanical designs according to customer specifications using standard procedures for desiccant air dryers, filters, and related equipment.
• Lead and instruct engineering personnel in design standards and project scheduling to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Provide technical support for Sales Representatives and customers on product lines; may visit customer sites to provide support.
