Bowman seeks an Engineer V, Mechanical (Oil & Gas) in Houston, TX to lead the mechanical engineering team and drive design and integration of complex systems. This senior role requires strategic planning, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and regulations.

The candidate will oversee equipment sizing, analyses, and deliverables, while guiding cross-functional teams through project implementation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
• PE licensure preferred but not required.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical principles and practices.
• Proficiency with mechanical engineering software and tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings, schematics, and specs.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to develop and implement mechanical engineering standards and guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.
