Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Generation) - Nuclear to support the next generation of nuclear projects across the United States. The role requires deep mechanical expertise and practical delivery experience, applying knowledge to operating-plant modifications, life-extension work, and new nuclear programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience with at least 7 years in nuclear.
Experience delivering calculations, specifications, and design change packages.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and deliver mechanical engineering assignments per quality programs, codes, and schedules.
Perform mechanical engineering for operating facilities, plant upgrades, and new nuclear projects.
Develop design criteria, calculations, drawings, and technical evaluations.
Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, process, civil/structural, electrical, and safety domains.
Support project execution from concept to commissioning and outage execution.
