Det-Tronics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical design aspects of new product development and sustaining programs across their lifecycle. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years developing electro-mechanical products.
• Experience using PTC Creo and Windchill (Solidworks).
• Due to contractual agreements, must be a US citizen, green card holder, or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical strategic planning, architecture definition with focus on manufacturability, reliability, safety, and sustainability.
• Document mechanical requirements with rationale and test cases for regulated products.
• Collaborate on requirements development, product risk analyses, design/technical reviews, and deliverables.
• Support project managers with work breakdown plans and task estimates.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases and documentation.
• Develop resolutions to mechanical issues in development and manufacturing operations.
• Follow development processes and document work deliverables.
• Work with SMEs to ensure complete use case coverage and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure designs are supported by analyses (FEA/tolerance analyses) and tested across stages.
• Establish and maintain written verification and testing standards and policies.
• Coordinate with Approvals and Test Engineers to develop mechanical tests.
• Develop and implement risk-mitigating solutions.
