Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Mission Critical team in California, based in Irvine. You will design, analyze, and coordinate complex mechanical systems for critical facilities and Fortune 500 clients.

Applicants should have 10+ years in project management and mechanical design, a PE license, and a degreed engineering background. Expect leadership responsibilities and collaboration across disciplines within an employee-owned, globally connected firm.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project management and mechanical design.
• PE license required.
• Must have an engineering degree and professional licensure.

Responsibilities

• Create and review CAD drawings and layouts.
• Prepare calculations and ensure code compliance.
• Develop equipment room sizes during SD and DD.
• Coordinate with MEP, Arch, and Structural teams.
• Respond to RFIs and review submittals.
• Mentor designer staff and ensure quality.
