Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years of design engineering experience with CAD.
• Experience in hygiene/personal care or roll converting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create concepts for new machine functions.
• Create technical solutions and assembly drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers to clarify functions.
• Support purchasing in evaluating offers and suppliers.
• Develop product concept catalogue and specification workbook.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement procedures and resolve malfunctions.
• Analyze customer designs for feasibility and maintenance needs.
• Specify system components to meet design specifications.
• Investigate equipment failures and advise maintenance teams.
• Work with minimal supervision.
