Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of experience in commercial/institutional mechanical design, and a PE license. Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
• Minimum of 10 years in mechanical system design for commercial or institutional buildings
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office
• Experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of Mechanical Engineers within a multidiscipline team through project development
• Establish client relations and participate in design, marketing and production meetings for mechanical systems
• Assume the mechanical lead on multiple projects and ensure code compliance with reviewers
• Conduct schematic, design development and contract document sessions with Project Manager and other disciplines
• Track project workload and budget to keep documents on schedule and within scope
