Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years in a design engineering role with mentoring experience.
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks) and engineering tools (Mathcad, Ansys).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and create fabrication drawings, BOMs, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Mentor junior engineers and coach team members.
• Communicate effectively within a team and participate in client meetings and design reviews.
• Develop concepts, estimate effort and equipment costs for proposals.
• Support technicians during machine builds and problem-solve on the shop floor.
