Re:Build is hiring a mechanical engineering team leader to guide product development and mentor the next generation of engineers. You will backstop day-to-day design work and tackle the toughest technical challenges while helping teams advance new technologies to market.

You bring a BS in mechanical engineering, a broad technical background, consulting experience, and proven ability to lead teams. SolidWorks CAD and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes are highly valued.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Broad technical background and a desire to learn more.
• Experience in consulting.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentorship/coaching.
• 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience with a range of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.).
• Experience designing biomedical or automation products a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor mechanical engineering teams to advance new technologies.
• Backstop day-to-day design work and tackle toughest technical problems.
• Coach on project management, proposals and statements of work, and budget reviews.
• Support 3–15 engineers depending on team sizes and project scope.
