Job summary

Nomad Global Communications Solutions in Huntsville, AL seeks a Mechanical Engineer III to lead intermodal container design and development. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• SolidWorks CAD experience is preferred.
• Experience designing/modifying intermodal freight containers and familiarity with ISO 830 terminology.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support mechanical systems for Nomad platforms.
• Create 3D models, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Perform structural analyses, load calculations, and FEA to validate designs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure producibility and quality.
