Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Mechanical design and DFX experience, including sheet metal, weldments, machining, and assembly.
• Strong 3D CAD and 2D drawings experience.
• Proven machine and mechanism design experience.
• GD&T proficiency.
• Robotics and End of Arm Tool knowledge.
• PLM familiarity.
• Tolerance analysis.
• Project management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Design and test mechanical concepts for packaging strategies, mechanisms and parts balancing function, appearance, form, and budget.
• Provide DFX guidance to optimize manufacturability, serviceability, and sustainability.
• Work with clients or as a lead on larger projects and manage client interactions and design reviews.
• Travel to local client sites as needed and communicate progress to senior management.
