Job summary

Bowman seeks a Mechanical Engineer III to join our Westminster, CO team. You will design complex mechanical systems, develop construction documents, and lead project engineers while collaborating with clients to meet schedule and budget goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT (CHVAC/RHVAC, TraneTrace or eQuest a plus). PE, EIT or LEED credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant industry-related experience in design of mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, CHVAC/RHVAC, TraneTrace, and/or eQuest modeling software.
• EIT and LEED accreditation strongly preferred; PE license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical systems in accordance with current code requirements.
• Develop construction documents including drawings and specifications.
• Mentor and lead design engineers and project engineers.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams to meet budgets and schedules.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders for accuracy.
• Oversee designs through construction and commissioning.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Apply broad engineering knowledge to resolve complex design issues.
