Job summary

SSOE, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in its Advanced Technology division to lead mechanical design for cleanroom, fab, and advanced technology manufacturing facilities.

You will shape systems supporting uptime, safety, and operations, from concept through startup, using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for modeling and coordination. Responsibilities include developing HVAC solutions (AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, exhaust), coordinating with PMs, clients, and vendors, reviewing

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Active PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience in semiconductor/cleanroom/fab facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for mechanical design.
• BIM coordination and Navisworks clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for cleanroom, fab, and advanced technology projects from planning to startup.
• Develop HVAC systems including AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, exhaust ventilation, and pump hydraulics.
• Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit; ensure completeness and alignment with requirements.
• Coordinate BIM models and resolve clashes across disciplines during design reviews.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors to define scope and support decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, supporting stamping activities and QA/QC.
