The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET), 4+ years in ASME pressure vessels or heat exchangers; MS or PE is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• MS in an engineering discipline is a plus.
• Professional Engineer’s license is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in ASME pressure vessel or heat exchanger design.
• Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with ASME, CSA, PED, API, TEMA codes and standards.

Aufgaben

• Provide mechanical engineering and structural analysis support on HVAC products, including water and air‑cooled chillers.
• Perform ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code calculations and related design calculations.
• Support certification for ASME pressure vessels and CRN registrations.
• Develop field modification procedures for pressure vessels and bi‑yearly updates to calculations.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for warranty/service cases and mentor developing engineers.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on product development and manufacturing.
