Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or FE exam within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing HVAC and plumbing systems, including master planning, feasibility studies, and mechanical systems.
• Reviewing draft designs for compliance with regulations and firm policies.
• Performing site reviews and updating design requirements for location specifications.
• Contributing to Technical Knowledge Management with papers and designs for publication.
• Attending industry conferences to promote CDM Smith’s products and services.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and supervising project work.
