CDM Smith in the United States seeks a Mechanical Engineer (HVAC/Plumbing) to lead design efforts on resilient, sustainable building projects. The role offers hybrid work and opportunities to advance technical and leadership skills across multiple offices.

You will craft master plans, perform feasibility studies, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with sales teams to promote solutions while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• EIT or FE exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable (within 18 months of hire).
• 5 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Travel frequency contingent on duties.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and developing HVAC and plumbing systems, including master planning and feasibility studies and mechanical systems.
• Reviewing draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; ensure policy adherence.
• Performing site reviews to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Contributing to Technical Knowledge Management with white papers and design documentation.
• Attending conferences to promote CDM Smith's products and services; collaborate with sales teams.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff; supervise project work as needed.
