You will design sustainable mechanical systems, mentor junior engineers, and participate in knowledge sharing through papers and internal design docs, contributing to high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems including master planning, feasibility studies, and systems such as co-generation.
• Review designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and firm policies.
• Perform site reviews to ensure alignment with location specifications.
• Develop technical papers and design documentation for publishing in journals.
• Attend industry conferences to promote services and collaborate with sales teams.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and supervise project work.
• Perform other duties as required.
