Job summary

PEAK Technical Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and support engineered HVAC solutions for commercial projects in the Tampa area.

You will collaborate with sales, project management, and field teams to assess requirements, perform site surveys, and develop customized systems that meet client needs and project specs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of design experience in HVAC and/or MEP.
• Experience performing heating and cooling load calculations.
• Proficiency in CAD and drafting software.
• Familiarity with mechanical system design for healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial facilities.
• Strong technical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to develop engineered mechanical and HVAC solutions.
• Conduct site surveys to evaluate existing conditions, understand customer needs, and identify project requirements.
• Design and develop customized mechanical systems based on project specifications and customer objectives.
• Present and review mechanical system design recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and field teams as needed.
• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements and project goals.
