Job summary

CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to lead HVAC and mechanical utility design for buildings in a leadership role. The candidate will coordinate with internal and external teams, manage budgets, and oversee quality across all design phases.

Ideal candidates have an ABET-accredited degree, a PE in good standing, and 10+ years of experience in mechanical design within life sciences or related sectors. Strong BIM skills and field surveying capability are preferred.

• Professional Engineer registration in good standing.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of HVAC and utilities for buildings.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and contractors.
• Oversee discipline budget and scope across project phases.
• Direct field surveys and site investigations.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, and construction documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
