Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience with HVAC systems.
• Professional Engineer license in New York.
• Experience with NYC projects and public-agency requirements (NYCHA, PANYNJ, SCA).
• Strong knowledge of NYC codes and international standards (IBC, IMC, IECC, ASHRAE, NFPA).
• Ability to manage projects from design through construction administration.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Aufgaben

• Lead HVAC design for educational, institutional, multifamily, municipal, and state projects.
• Prepare cooling/heating load calculations, layouts, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for accuracy and compliance.
• Attend and lead project meetings with clients and agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers and support planning and staffing.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to codes and standards.
