Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a full-time role with a growing engineering and manufacturing organization focused on precision fluid dispensing and metering systems. You will own complex mechanical designs from concept to production and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years of mechanical design experience, hands-on testing, and strong proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred), GD&T, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong design and analysis experience.
• CAD software proficiency; SolidWorks preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI/ASME Y14 drawing standards.
• Experience with FEA/CFD.
• Tolerance analysis experience.
• FMEA, DOE and root cause analysis experience.
• Materials and manufacturing processes knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on mechanical design and CAD work.
• Engineering analysis and simulation.
• Prototyping, testing and troubleshooting.
• Manufacturing involvement and DFx.
• Documentation, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain).
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives.
