Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical discipline across several projects, guiding design through pursuit, proposal, design and construction phases.

You will serve as Engineer of Record and coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers and clients on HVAC and sustainable solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of facility design experience for US federal agencies, US citizenship, and licensure as a Professional Engineer in the

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for federal employment.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10–15 years in consulting engineering and facility design.
• Experience producing IFC design packages for federal facilities.
• Professional Engineering licensure in the United States; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff to develop construction-ready design packages.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, UFC and UFGS federal standards and codes.
• Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, and staffing plans; pursue clients and opportunities.
• Utilize Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, Trane Trace and SpecsIntact for design work.
• Travel to project sites for site surveys and collaboration with client teams.
