University of Michigan in Ann Arbor seeks a Facilities Sustainability Engineer to lead senior project management and engineering support for maintenance and capital projects. You will drive energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and sustainability initiatives across Medical School facilities and campus partners.

Requires PE license (MI) or within 12 months, and a BE/CE degree with 8+ years in PM, design, construction, and facility operations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• PE license in Michigan or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Certified Energy Manager (AEE) required.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in PM, design, construction and O&M of facilities.
• Expert in HVAC design and operation for complex research environments.
• Strong communication, organization and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and energy codes.

• Provide senior project management and engineering support to maintenance and capital projects.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and coordinate with campus stakeholders.
• Review design and construction documents for quality and code compliance.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and carbon neutrality goals.
