Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Tulsa, OK office. You will design equipment, components, structures or systems and lead multi-discipline project efforts from concept through detailed engineering, interfacing with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities include preparing specs, calculations, drawings, vendor reviews and ensuring HSSE compliance. Required: 10+ years in EPC, PE license, ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• ABET-accredited program preferred.
• PE license is required.
• Field experience is preferred.
• 10+ years EPC experience is preferred.
• Experience leading medium to large multi-discipline projects preferred.
• Experience with piping systems and process equipment designs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare intermediate to advanced level specifications detailing performance requirements, design codes, and vendor drawings.
• Prepare sketches, calculations and analysis models for complex projects.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with specifications.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources; meet schedule and budget.
• Develop and review engineering design packages and estimates.
• Lead multi-discipline projects and coordinate day-to-day work.
