Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and eight years of related experience.
• PE, CEM or LEED AP preferred.
• Experience with building system design, operation, and energy performance modeling.

Responsibilities

• Participates in formulation, design, construction and commissioning of projects overseen by the University's capital projects group.
• Facilitates commissioning of mechanical systems including field testing and operations interfacing.
• Directs complex engineering projects by coordinating outside consultants and contractors.
• Assists operations staff in troubleshooting mechanical systems and provides practical solutions.
• Formulates projects for replacement, upgrade or enhancement of mechanical systems.
• Reviews and suggests improvements to campus automation systems and building performance.
• Participates in budget development for projects and capital spending.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
