Job summary

Triumph Arcade, based in Mountain View, seeks a senior mechanical engineer to own systems end to end—from design through build and test to field fixes. You will lead major subsystems, drive manufacturability, build test rigs, analyze data, and set CAD standards.

The role will operate from our Fremont, CA testing warehouse as relocation occurs. Required: 5+ years shipping mechanical hardware, strong CAD skills, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and hands-on bench testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and shipping mechanical hardware with production ownership.
• Strong fundamentals in GD&T, materials selection, tolerance analysis and failure analysis.
• Deep CAD command and real manufacturing fluency; know what machinists will call you about.
• Hands-on test experience building fixtures and instrumenting hardware.
• Comfort doing maintenance and repair work in shop and field.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design for major subsystems from requirements to release.
• Drive design for manufacturability and assembly; tradeoffs with vendors and processes.
• Build, instrument, and run test rigs; analyze data and implement design changes.
• Set standards for CAD practices, part numbering, revision control, and test documentation.
• Partner with engineers on integration and cross-functional coordination.
• Work from our warehouse in Fremont, CA for testing, bring up, maintenance, and repair.
