Accelevation LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical assemblies and enclosures for electrical equipment. You will create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks, with a focus on sheet metal enclosures, cabinets, and components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.

Responsabilités

• Own mechanical design tasks from concept through production.
• Design sheet metal enclosures, cabinets, brackets, and assemblies.
• Create 3D models, drawings, and bills of materials using SolidWorks.
• Perform thermal analysis and select fans, heatsinks, and airflow arrangements.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers on placement, mounting, and cable routing.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and design improvements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for cost-effective designs.
• Incorporate safety standards and enclosure requirements into designs.
• Maintain drawings and documentation throughout product development.
