Job summary

Advanced Technology Search Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop sheet metal enclosures and systems for high‑speed networking core switch products in San Jose, CA.

You will oversee vibration, thermal and stress considerations, work with Signal Integrity, Power Integrity and NPI teams, and rely on CREO for CAD modeling to deliver robust electronics enclosures.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
8+ years of experience in sheet metal enclosure design for electronics.
Telecommunications/high-speed networking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and develop sheet metal enclosures and systems for core switch products.
Oversee vibration, shock, thermal, and stress considerations.
Interface with Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and NPI teams.
Utilize CREO for detailed CAD modeling.
