Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D CAD required.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading large projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ME team meetings to improve operations.
• Collaborate with the Mechanical Engineering Manager and senior engineers.
• Support systems engineering and approval drawing processes.
• Mentor Engineers I and II for consistent designs.
• Coach, review, and delegate work on large projects.
• Research, design components and materials (motors, gearboxes, bearings, structures).
• Create production drawings: detail, assembly, weldment, install.
• Use ERP to release engineering information to manufacturing.
• Support fabrication and assembly with troubleshooting.
• Travel to job sites to gather project information.
• Provide customer support via phone, email, or web.
• Support the Innovation Center team.
