Job summary

Katalyst-Healthcares- is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Piping Design Engineer with 10–13 years in the chemical or FMCG industries to design, develop, and optimize mechanical and piping systems for process plants.

The role includes onsite field support, vendor coordination, and commissioning assistance, coordinating with process, electrical, instrumentation, and civil teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 10–13 years of experience.
• Experience in mechanical and piping design for process plants.
• Experience with onsite installation, commissioning, and startup support.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop layouts, select equipment, and design support structures for process plants.
• Review P&IDs and GA drawings for equipment and piping.
• Coordinate with process, electrical, instrumentation, and civil teams for design integration.
• Prepare BOQs and procurement specifications.
• Provide onsite support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field issues related to mechanical and piping systems.
