Caztek Precision is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and development across medical, aerospace, industrial, and consumer projects. You will collaborate with designers, machinists, and fabricators to deliver robust prototypes and final products.

The role emphasizes hands‑on design from concept through manufacturing, with responsibility for project scope, timelines, and client communications. A strong background in SolidWorks and simulation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects within budget and timeline.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, FEA, and CFD software.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients, manage projects, and generate proposals.
• Design mechanical assemblies, parts, and systems for customer projects.
• Evaluate designs using simulation software such as FEA and CFD.
• Create parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create mechanical drawings, BOMs, and other project documentation.
• Evaluate prototypes and designs for refinement through testing.
• Facilitate customer project reviews.
• Contribute to solutions including ideation, design, and specifications.
• Sourcing components and engineering research.
• Mentor staff engineers.
