Job summary

Accelint Holdings LLC in Indiana seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead advanced defense sensor hardware development. The role involves guiding architecture, reviews, and production-readiness across internal and external teams.

The candidate should possess 15+ years in mechanical subsystems, CAD/analysis tools proficiency, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Hybrid/onsite work in Crane, IN is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of mechanical subsystem research, design, development, integration, test, or production transition experience.
• Experience as technical authority or SME for complex mechanical, sensor, or defense system development.
• Experience overseeing subcontractor/supplier execution including review of technical data and deliverables.
• Fluency with CAD/Simulation tools (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, Ansys, MATLAB).

Responsibilities

• Guide technical approaches to meet system-level performance and producibility requirements.
• Develop, review, and mature mechanical architectures and interfaces.
• Review subcontractor designs and ensure quality and traceability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to improve producibility and delivery readiness.
• Support verification planning, test procedures, and production-transition activities.
