Cubic Defence in Orlando, FL seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and implement mechanical solutions across multi-disciplinary teams. The role covers concept through manufacture and life-cycle sustainment, with close collaboration to Production and Testing.

Responsibilities include creating manufacturing packages, applying GD&T, and enabling transfer from design to production while meeting cost and schedule targets. DoD-related experience is valued.

Competenze

• Four-year degree in mechanical engineering; 5+ years of experience or a related Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience in electronics packaging including enclosure design, thermal management, and EMI/EMC.
• Proven lead mechanical engineer on multidisciplinary programs with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Mansioni

• Lead mechanical design and development for multi-disciplinary programs.
• Develop manufacturing plans and DFMA-focused design decisions.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create manufacturing and test artefacts and ensure proper documentation in PLM.
• Support lifecycle sustainment and field issue investigations.
