As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you lead decarbonization programs end-to-end, with autonomy and influence to shape how major infrastructure initiatives are delivered.

This remote role favors candidates in the Northeast, with travel ~20%. You will own sustainability plans, energy modeling, ECM development, client-facing leadership, and mentoring

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of mechanical engineering experience with energy modeling and retro-commissioning.
• Proven track record developing ROI-driven ECMs and achieving energy/cost reductions.
• Willingness to travel ~20% to client sites and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead 10-year sustainability and decarbonization plans for health-system clients—from benchmarking to funded ECMs.
• Own retro-commissioning and energy modeling across central plant, AHU, terminal equipment, and energy management systems.
• Develop investment-grade ECMs and sustainable MEP standards adopted by clients.
• Serve as client- and construction-facing lead through implementation and commissioning, presenting findings to owners.
• Secure efficiency incentives through utility studies and optimization.
• Shape AI/ML tooling to scale analyses and mentor junior engineers.
