The role requires a PE license in the U.S. with multi-state stamping, 10+ years in critical facilities, and expertise in immersion cooling and CFD tools. Collaboration with electrical and civil teams is essential for integrated design.

Qualifications

• PE license with stamping authority in the U.S.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems for critical facilities.
• Experience with ASHRAE TC9.9, NFPA, and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of mechanical systems, including chilled water loops, CDUs, air handling, containment, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Provide stamped mechanical drawings for permitting and compliance.
• Mentor and review the work of junior mechanical engineers.
• Evaluate advanced technologies, including immersion and liquid-to-chip cooling.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE TC9.9, local building codes, and NFPA standards.
• Collaborate with electrical and civil teams on integrated designs.
• Drive sustainability metrics, including PUE and WUE improvements.
