Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to act as the technical authority for electrical design in hyperscale data centers. A licensed PE is required, with extensive experience in high-voltage distribution, HVDC, UPS, SST, switchgear, and critical facility systems.

The role includes stamping drawings, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compatibility with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEC, UL, and customer requirements across global projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with stamping authority in the U.S. (multi-state preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in data center electrical systems.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Revit, and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center builds, including one-line diagrams and short-circuit studies.
• Provide stamped drawing sets for permitting and compliance.
• Serve as SME for HVDC distribution, SST integration, UPS systems, and busway/busduct designs.
• Mentor electrical engineers and review work for compliance and quality.
• Interface with AHJs, utility providers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Support proposals and client workshops with expert input.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEC, UL, and other standards.
