Job summary

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen reliability and performance of data center mechanical infrastructure. You will resolve complex issues, support incident response, and develop durable solutions across our campus portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years in mechanical infrastructure, a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, and experience with chillers, AHUs, pumps, piping, and BMS. Travel up to 30% is required; relocation support is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in mechanical infrastructure for mission-critical environments.
• Experience with chillers, AHUs, pumps, piping, and BMS.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Engineering License (preferred).
• Familiarity with ASHRAE/ASME/NFPA standards; commissioning or turnover experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical infrastructure issues affecting data center operations.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Support operational readiness, facility turnover, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with Operations, vendors, and manufacturers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to reliability projects and standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and procedures.
• Develop expertise in data center mechanical systems and lifecycle management.
• Travel up to 30% domestically.
