Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for data center hardware, including enclosures and packaging, ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and performance.

You will use CAD tools to create 3D models, perform thermal analyses, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to move designs from prototype to production, while optimizing for standards and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Independently designs mechanical systems and packaging for reliability and manufacturability.
• Contributes to thermal cooling strategies and server mechanical architecture.
• Uses CAD tools to develop 3D models and detailed designs with cross‑functional teams.
• Reviews mechanical strength and reliability, identifies failure points and implements improvements.
• Coordinates with operations and suppliers to transition prototypes to production.
