Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our plant’s reliability. You will lead design improvements, manage PM schedules in collaboration with maintenance and operations, and coordinate startup activities with outside contractors to ensure smooth transfers of documentation.

This role requires a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, experience in high-speed dairy processing, and Lean/Six Sigma familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or another related field.
• High speed manufacturing, dairy processing, and packaging.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform design of experiments (DOE) to redesign systems creating chronic issues and develop sustainable solutions.
• Maintain and update documentation for machine centers (Schematics, manuals, PI&D).
• Source parts through schematics, spare parts manual, and parts attendant.
• Create work orders and PM's through D365 and add required parts for the scope of work.
• Coordinate and facilitate scheduling of overhauls.
• Drive process improvements and present to Engineering Department.
